For a long time I was looking forward to this.. the end of my master thesis ! Today I went to my professor to fill in my 'Transcript of Records'. He gave me A's on the whole line! Which was really great! Afterwards we faxed the paper to Belgium and he called me the first time 'Mister Master' which was very fun and strange to hear! When this was done I went again to the lab to fix the plexiglas so everything would be really finnished! The only thing I have to do is print my thesis :-) and enjoy Poland !

Like mentioned my deadline of my MSc project was yesterday. Together with my supervisor Prof. Abramski we had a quick read of the thesis. Then he would read it more carefully at home. So today we have again a meeting to discuss everything. Then I have to make everything (MSc & Transscipt of Records) in order till friday. Also the Plexiglas plates will be finished this week, so I hope I can assemble everything and include the final pictures in my thesis. More info on friday i guess... |

Again some time futher. The paper version of my thesis is ready, after the meeting on tuesday I made the changes and it is now ready to be printed. The plexiglas is also cutted and now the autocorrelator has a total other view. On friday the frontpanel will be assembled so everything would be done then. |

There now only 4 days left till the deadline for my Master thesis. Time for a small update. The autocorrelator is working. At this moment they are aser cutting the plates to make the box to cover the autocorrelator and prevent that any unwanted light will fall on the surface of the photodiode. About the writing of the thesis I'm at page 36 of my goal of about 40 pages. Working on the theory of the autocorrelator/2-photon-absorption, testmeasurements and then later the conclusions.
After that, the thesis should have a huge rework and would be finished i hope by this weekend. |
